Flying in San Jose: Airspace Considerations
Much of central San Jose lies within Mineta San Jose International's Class C airspace, with Reid-Hillview's Class D to the east — LAANC handles most authorizations, but downtown grids near the approach path carry lower altitude ceilings that we design flight plans around.
